Deckerville Community Hospital

DCH offers several services and accommodations to patients to keep them comfortable during their stay here at the hospital.

Telephone Services

Telephones are available in all rooms for patient convenience. Patients just have to dial "9" and then the 7 digit number they wish to call. Only calls to the local community may be placed. All calls will be charged to the patient's home phone, unless the patient calls collect.

Television Services

Television sets are furnished in most rooms. There is a daily service charge, payable upon discharge, since insurance companies will not pay for this convenience. Personal TVs are not permitted, due to state safety regulations.

Flowers and Mail

All mail and flowers addressed to you will be brought to your room by a hospital employee or volunteer. Any items of mail received for you after your discharge will be forwarded to your home address. The hospital will call you in regards to other items that come after your discharge and will keep these for you to pick up at the hospital at your convenience. No flowers can be delivered to patients in monitored care rooms.

Bulletin Boards

Bulletin boards are available in all patient rooms to display cards and letters. The bulletin boards were donated to the hospital by the thoughtful family of a previous patient.
