Acute Care Services
Emergency Room - Services are available at all times. We are staffed by the local Practice Physicians as well as EmCare, a nationally recognized company that provides emergency room physicians to area hospitals. On-call lab and x-ray are available for all emergency room visits requiring their services.
Respite Care - Described as a "care-giving service that provides a planned intermittent break from the ongoing responsibility of caring for a chronically ill or disabled individual who is being managed at home," Many families caring for a chronic illness or disability have expressed the need for a break in care-giving-if they travel for business, want to take a long awaited vacation, or simply just need a rest. Call 810-376-2835 for more information. Hospice Care - Hospice Care is now available at Deckerville Community Hospital through Heartland Hospice. Now your family member can receive expert Hospice care, including personal care with the goal that your loved one will be kept pain free and comfortable. Surgical Care - Two General Surgeons and a Gastroenterologist A spacious and attractive operating suite offers patients a comfortable environment in which to have their surgery done. Friendly and competent operating room staff assists the surgeon in delivering professional and compassionate care before, during, and after procedures. Patients appreciate the convenience of receiving these services close to home and often being cared for by familiar faces. Outpatient Surgery - Patients can be confident of the care given by competent, qualified staff.
