Admission and Discharge Information Admission It is the policy of Deckerville Community Hospital to admit and treat all patients without regard to race, color, national origin, or religious creed. There is no distinction in eligibility for, or in the manner of providing, any patient service provided by or through the hospital. Perhaps you or your doctor made prior admission arrangements with the hospital, and most of the information we require is already in our files. Patients not having preadmission arrangements are asked to furnish personal and financial facts at the time of admission. Patients not covered by insurance are asked to make financial arrangements prior to admission. Discharge We are pleased that we are here to serve you when you need us and that we can be instrumental in your recovery. All patients are discharged in a wheelchair, accompanied by a member of the hospital staff. You will then be taken from your hospital room to the Admitting Office, where a discharge interview will take place, and soon after be released from the hospital.
