Outpatient Surgery

Bill McNish, CRNA, has been providing anesthesia care at Deckerville Hospital for many years. Born and raised in Canada, Bill graduated from Ontario Hospital School of Nursing in Brockville, Ontario. He did his advanced training at St. Francis Hospital School of Anesthesia in Peoria, Illinois. Early in his CRNA career Bill worked at the Albert Schweitzer Hospital in Haiti. He is a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. Bill has two grown children and one grandson. He enjoys travel and is a big enthusiast of motorcycle riding. Bill and his wife, Barb, make their home near Ubly.

Stella Kraska, CRNA, joined our hospital family in January 2006. She works full time at St. John Hospital in Detroit, relief at Marlette Hospital, and also relief here at DCH. After receiving a BS degree from Wayne State University, Stella worked as an RN for several years before returning to WSU where she obtained her MS degree in Anesthesia. Stella enjoys time away from work doing yoga, bike riding, camping and hiking. She lives in Sterling Heights.
