Virtual Tour
DCH features a large, pleasant building that is designed to meet the needs of patients and visitors.
Our tour of the building begins in the Lobby.
The Hospital lobby is spacious and comfortable. The Admitting
window is on the right when
you walk into the lobby.
The Admitting Department takes care of your needs,
whether it is for a simple blood draw; if you
have anappointment to see
Dr. Decossard;
or if you are here for an outpatient
surgical procedure.
Once registered, if you have an appointment to see Dr. Decossard,
Lisa will take you down
the hallway to an exam room.
After your examination, Dr. Decossard may order laboratory testing.
The Laboratory draw room is
spacious and has comfortable easy
chairs, making your lab draw a
breeze!
When you have a cut that requires stitches, the Emergency Room
is the place to go. One of the
Emergency Room physicians
will take care of your needs
as soon as possible.
Many outpatient procedures, including outpatient surgeries and colonoscopies
are routinely performed at Deckerville
Community Hospital. You will be admitted
to the acute care floor before the
procedure. The Nurses’ Station is close
so that experienced Registered and
Licensed Practical Nurses can
provide close monitoring.
When you need to be admitted for acute care treatment, your
care will also be in one of the
Acute Care Rooms.
As a Critical Access Hospital, Deckerville Community Hospital is
designed to handle critical patients,
including those with chest pain.
The Intensive Care Unit offers close
electronic monitoring and care necessary
for an optimal patient stay
Sometimes we just need some quiet space, and the Chapel fits
the bill. The Chapel is also
a visitor waiting room when
patients are receiving care
elsewhere in the Hospital.
It is comfortable and
offers solitude when
we need it. |
