Mission Statement
The mission of Deckerville Community Hospital and Clinics, in partnership with its Medical Staff, other health providers, and the East-Central Thumb Community is to provide for quality, cost effective primary health care close to home in a patient-centered environment, provide coordination of specialty and tertiary care, and provide systems of care that assist patients as they transition through various care continuums.
Vision Statement
Deckerville Community Hospital, through the efforts of the Board of Incorporators, the Board of Directors, Administration, Medical Staff, and Employees, will be recognized by the East-Central Thumb Community for:
  • Efforts in informing the community on public health needs.
  • Implementing progressive changes in meeting these needs.
  • Developing quality Medical Staff.
  • Promoting visionary efforts to continually plan for the expanding residential, recreational, and industrial populations.
Deckerville Community Hospital is a non-profit community hospital governed by a Board of Directors. As representatives of the hospital interests, the Board determines policy, provides direction and counsel on management, administration, planning and development. Members of the Board hold office as expressed in the Hospital By-Laws. The Board of Directors holds regular monthly meetings, and members are elected at an annual meeting of the Board of Incorporators.
