Deckerville Community Hospital participates with the Michigan Critical Access Hospital Quality Network. This network has been supported by the Michigan Center for Rural Health since 2001. As a result, there are over 20 quality measures that are used by the Hospital to identify current levels of performance in key clinical areas and opportunities for improvement. Deckerville Community Hospital participates with the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in evaluating the satisfaction of our inpatients. Through a program called Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAPHS) patients that are discharged from our acute care unit after completing an inpatient stay are surveyed by an independent company that reports the results directly to CMS reporting.
